When I worked in Human Resources, I sat across from people in their most vulnerable moments (when they were navigating difficult work dynamics, choosing the right benefits to support their family needs or being put on workplace improvement plans) it taught me how to lead with empathy, listen between the lines, and hold space for difficult conversations all while building trust. 

That experience made me realize I wanted to create a world of work where those kinds of genuine, trust-based relationships weren’t the exception but the rule.
